Patient Support Programmes
At Bionical Health, we pride ourselves on delivering care in our patients' homes with our teams of highly skilled nurses. We are an extension of the NHS team and the link between a hospital and patients in their homes.
Our patient support services are centred around educating our patients to become confident and independent when self-administering their injection, as well as completing disease assessments and motivational interviewing that we know drives adherence and persistence with high-cost medication. These programmes can also include emotional wellness support and regular check-ins to help patients stay engaged in their treatment.
The Bionical Health framework allows us to contract with any of the UK homecare providers offering dispense and delivery options, and in many cases, we provide standalone nursing provision for our Pharma clients as part of the homecare service delivery. This gives our clients and their patients consistency across different stages of treatment, whether delivered at home or through our wider service network.
The Bionical Health homecare services work across many treatment pathways – dermatology, oncology, neurology, and rare disease areas. We offer a flexible, bespoke approach, creating our patient support services with our client, always keeping the patient at the centre, whilst aligning to the NHS agendas. Our Patient Support Programmes can also link seamlessly with our Homecare Services and Single Point of Access (SPA) to offer a more joined-up experience for patients managing long-term or complex health conditions.
