Clinical Trials

The UK government has signalled that they want patients in the UK to receive access to innovative therapies quicker than historical timelines in key areas that align to national health priorities such as Neurological conditions, Rare diseases and Oncology. To aid this they have invested over £10 million to support the MHRA in developing and implementing the appropriate mechanisms to support this process. Therapies which fall under approved international recognition routes will be eligible for accelerated use within the NHS.   With the number of accelerated approvals set to increase, the need for long term post approval data collection is anticipated to increase, meaning that the right partner to support both patients and evidence generation will become a core part of how to launch medicines in the future,
